REGULAR VERBS

Para poner un verbo regular en el pasado añadimos “ED”

Ejemplo: I play – I played, you work-- you worked, he likes-- he liked

OJO;  * Cuando el verbo acaba en E solo añadimos D (love-loved)

·        Cuando el verbo acaba en consonante + Y, cambiamos la Y por i, y añadimos ED (study – studied)

·        Cuando el verbo acaba en consonante + vocal + consonate, doblamos la consonate y añadimos ED (stop- stopped)

TIME EXPRESSIONS

YESTERDAY (ayer)

LAST ……. (Pasada/pasado) last week, last year…

……. AGO (hace) 3 weeks ago, 4 days ago

NEGATIVO

PERSONA + DIDN’T + VERBO  (sin pasarlo al pasado)

Ejemplos: I didn’t play football yesterday. We didn’t read the newspaper.

                   She didn’t go to school.  They didn’t like the film.

INTEROGATIVO

(Wh) + DID + PERSONA +VERBO (sin pasarlo al pasado)

Ejemplos; I studied – Did you study?

We played – Did we play?

They finished – Did they finish?
