Grammar

There is / there are 

Para hablar de lo que HAY, usamos there is y there are.

There is  (1 cosa)

There are (2 o más cosas)

En negativo decimos : there isn’t y there aren’t

En preguntas decimos: is there?  Are there?

Ejemplos: there is a sandwich on the table.

There are two apples in the bowl.

Some  (algunos / algo de)

La palabra some se usa en frases afirmativas

Ej; there is some cheese in the fridge.

There are some oranges on the table.

También la puedo usar en una pregunta solo si estoy ofreciendo

Would you like some lemonade?...... Yes please.

Would you like some soup?......No thank you.

 Any  (algunos / algo de )  ?

La palabra any se usa en frases negativas y en preguntas

Ej: Are there any apples?

Is there any water?

There isn’t any cheese?

There aren’t any vegetables.
